About Peter
I run a principal-led visual systems practice located between New York, Philadelphia and Washington D.C. I came from a leading global design firm working on branded experiences for international companies and organizations, then served as Creative Director at a digital agency that grew from a handful of people to over 30.
Today, my studio provides clients with senior judgment on everything we produce without the agency overhead or inefficiency.
Here’s what makes my approach different: Most designers specialize in digital, environmental, or editorial. My 25+ years of experience allows me to work fluidly across all three. When a conference identity needs also needs UX design, when a campaign spans environmental graphics and digital touchpoints, when a publication requires editorial design and information architecture — I handle all of it with equal rigor.
My work has been recognized by AIGA, Clio, Print, Communication Arts, and SXSW. It’s appeared in Times Square and spanned international conferences from Vienna to Beijing. I’ve collaborated with Fortune 500 companies including Hershey’s, Fidelity, Samsung, Novartis, and General Mills, plus cultural institutions and scaling organizations that value strategic thinking.
Outside of client work, I’m a dad, endlessly curious, and always up for a conversation.

How I Work
Most designers either clone brand guidelines or ignore them completely. I work with the essence of your brand to create something new — related, but distinct. The way a well-designed campaign feels unmistakably like the parent brand while having its own voice.
I approach the practice of design systematically. Identify core traits. Generate new expressions. Test coherence across formats. The result is flexible systems that hold together everywhere they appear, but feel intentional and specific to their context.
